KTC partnered with CELCAT the world leader in software for Universities and Colleges, and the developer of the popular CELCAT Timetabler product that is used by hundreds of institutions in more than 30 countries. KTC & CELCAT started a campaign to introduce CELCAT Timetaber products to the universities in Kuwait & soon in the Middle East, we found that most of the universities & colleges are still using the manual system for the scheduling & events management, the much advance people are depending on Excel to help this accomplish this mission.

Timetabler Scheduling

CELCAT Timetabler is an interactive timetabling system for PCs that is used to schedule courses and classes, manage room bookings and prepare timetables for hundreds of institutions worldwide.

Whatever your situation, Timetabler can help you save time and money creating your schedules. With robust multi-user operation and flexible web access Timetabler can be used across any sized institution – from a single college department to multi-site universities.

When you use Timetabler to create and publish class schedules you have access to a range of powerful and useful tools. From timetable advisors to clash checking these tools put you in control. Student Attendance Monitoring

CELCAT Attendance is the easy way to generate electronic registers for events created in Timetabler 6. Together Timetabler and CELCAT Attendance form an integrated system that combines with your student MIS to take you from timetables to registers and reports with ease.

With CELCAT Attendance it is fast to mark registers, and even faster to create them. Information is statistically useful because it’s in a form easily extractable for reports so you can tell at the click of a button if there are students at risk of dropping out of a course.

With student retention such a key concern, CELCAT Attendance helps you to focus on the information that matters by making your register system work for you rather then you working for it. For the first time you can accurately track what is planned (events in Timetabler) against what actually takes place (the CELCAT Attendance register).

Room Booker

CELCAT Room Booker is a powerful web-based utility that forms part of the CELCAT Timetabler suite and facilitates ad hoc room bookings and booking requests.

Room Booker allows rooming administrators to readily find available space and respond quickly to the demands of colleagues. And because it is part of the Timetabler database, it gives you all of the reporting facilities you need to monitor planned usage (and if combined with SAT electronic registers, actual usage).

Room Booker delivers many benefits:

It provides a simple and speedy method of locating free teaching and meeting rooms.
It has a simple-to-use interface that helps you elicit the assistance of all teaching staff in resolving their room booking problems.
It operates in a secure environment that ensures that facilities managers retain control.

Users with executive access to make room bookings can use this tool to quickly search the Timetabler database for available rooms. Those without executive access can use the application to submit rooming requests to a rooming administrator.

Allowing all staff access to the utility in this controlled way can help rooming administrators enormously. Now staff can come to the rooming administrator with a solution to their accommodation needs, rather than a problem to be resolved. Of course, if you prefer staff not to have such access, you can easily control this with Timetabler administrator functions.
